Sheryl Gonder shared her experience and support of Greene County 4-H at the annual Lamb Producers banquet held on March 19 at Clover Hall in Jefferson.
Mrs Gonder presented $25 to each of these youngsters, recognizing their work at the Greene County Fair. They are (front, from left) Bailey Anderson, Mrs Gonder, Justin Stream, Kaiden Burbank and Becca Anderson; and (back, from left) Caden Etherton, Conner Allender, Ben Lint and Emily Finch.
Sheryl and her late husband, JD, were long-time supporters of the Lamb Producers. For many years they personally made all of the fixins’ for the banquets.

As part of the Lamb Producers annual banquet, a fundraising auction is held. Money raised is used to support the organization and 4-H sheep department.
Teresa Mobley, left, represented Peoples Trust & Savings Bank, which purchased the award plaque for the grand champion market lamb that will be presented to the winner at the 2016 Greene County Fair. Lamb Producer Dave Wolf presented the plaque to Mobley.
